MSAIN discusses the way forward at first meet and greet.

Saturday, February 19, MSAIN (Multiple Sclerosis Awareness in Nigeria) invited a few MS patients to a two-hour “Meet & Greet,” which was the NGOs first public event since its establishment. 
This was held at the meeting conference rooms at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja. The event was a divided into two parts, the first part featured brief introduction and history by the MS patients present, followed by a discussion on the way forward for the NGO.

Kicking off in a warm cheerful ambiance, the first half of the event featured a brief introduction by the founder of the NGO who shared the history, mission, and vision of MSAIN and what steps are being taken make the NGO successful.
Following the discussion , the MS patients in attendance spoke about their various struggles and how it has been since they were diagnosed with the illness, they went ahead to discuss about the NGO and how they are looking to work together going forward. The first half of the program was concluded by Erepere Bello(founder), who shared her gratitude for the attendance as well as all future activities taking place at MSAIN.

During a brief intermission, people in attendance were able to mingle freely and meet to get to know each other and ask questions and share concerns, photos and videos were made to preserve memories about the event.
The second half of the program then followed with a brief discussion about the the growth of the NGO, refreshments and a vote of thanks by the founder.
The event abided by all local and national guidance regarding face coverings as well as social distancing and disinfection, featuring a strict face mask requirement, spaced-out seating, and hand-sanitizer available to all visitors.
